Citroli, a sativa-dominant variety resulting from the cross between Citral Skunk and Original Glue, was developed by Seed Junky Genetics and cultivated in living soil. It stands out with its strong and intriguing cheese-like aroma. While taking the pictures, I joked to myself that we should call it “Blue Cheese Dream” due to its effects reminiscent of the famous Blue Dream.
After reading positive reviews on Reddit SQDC, I was intrigued to put my nose into one of the tubes. I quickly understood why so many people spoke highly of it. The cheese-like aroma is truly INTENSE! It’s disgusting (in a good way). The taste is also prominent, but the cheese blends nicely with other flavors of wood, earth, and pine.
The joints smoke wonderfully, with a slow burn and beautiful white ash. Its super balanced effect kept me energetic and joyful throughout the day, and I was fully engaged in daily conversations and tasks. Citroli definitely ranks in my top list of the best pre-rolls of the year.
