The Jet Fuel Cake strain, marketed under the Be Humble brand and bearing the name Champs Verdoyants, is one of the best options in rotation at the SQDC. This strain is the result of cross genetics between Jet Fuel, a Sativa dominant, and Ice Cream Cake, an Indica strain. This unique combination offers a balanced experience, combining the characteristics of both types of cannabis. Don’t miss your chance, as it’s on rotation for a limited time.
When I opened the bag, I plunged my big nose in and detected fruity and sweet aromas, like a fruitcake (I’ve never been a fan, but when smoked, it’s a different story). The buds may not be the sexiest, but they are a nice size, and the humidity is just right. Once the cannabis is ground, subtle notes of pine or mint come in to enrich the experience. It’s quite complex and hard to describe, but I greatly appreciate it!
The smoke is creamy and gazy offering hints of nuts, vanilla and biscuits, reminiscent of several other cookie or cake strains. The joint burns slowly, and the ash is white. Once again, I really like it! Despite its Sativa label on the SQDC website, Jet Fuel Cake leans clearly towards the hybrid side for me. I expected some turbulence, but instead, I glided smoothly for a lovely hour before a gentle landing. It’s so unpleasant… that I want more! Make sure to keep an eye on the stocks.
