Sour OG, also known as “Sour OG Kush”, is a popular hybrid cannabis strain renowned for providing a balanced experience. This strain is the result of the cross between Sour Diesel and OG Kush. Smell and taste are generally a balanced blend of both parents, with hints of tart lemon, pine, fuel and a distinct “kush” undertone.
The Sour OG has become a go-to choice for me since the early days of the SQDC, even when its appellation was still Ruxton. Despite the accolades for the legendary first version of the Ruxton, I find the Sour OG still a safe bet in my eyes. Its mixture of gassy and lemon notes, with a “kushy” touch, offers an aromatic experience that I appreciate very much. In my opinion, it’s a perfect balance between the physical relaxation of Indica and the euphoria of Sativa. Every puff of Sour OG sends me into a zen and soothing mood, and I quickly forget that tomorrow is Monday.
