Strawberry Sensi is a new sativa born from the cross between Strawberry Cough and Sensi Star. Offered to the SQDC by San Rafael ’71 in 3.5 g format and in pre-rolls (7 units), this sativa displays myrcene and pinene as dominant terpenes. On the aroma side, the tube announces notes of strawberry, cream and a touch of gasoline.
San Rafael, for me, remains a reliable choice at the SQDC: between Pink Kush, perfect for sleep, and strains like Buttered Toast, which really ‘toasted’ my brain last year. Their Chemango Kush pre-rolls, which I loved, convinced me to try Strawberry Sensi as soon as it hit the shelves. Upon opening the tube (pop!), the aroma is surprising—more herbal and dank than expected. On the palate, the flavors are subtle, with a pleasant creamy note that, for some reason, reminds me of the mist in a greenhouse. Although some other ‘strawberry’ strains offer more intense flavors, the quality, smooth burn, and effects of this product are hard to beat. My brain starts to tingle, and I’m in the mood for fun. It’s Monday, it’s raining, and my invoicing tasks quickly fall down my priority list: my Sensi invites me to put on some music, cook, and dive back into its tube, because the recipe for happiness is never too far away.
The pre-rolled Strawberry Sensi is solid: the 7 joint format is practical, and the size is perfect for me. I found the effect energizing and balanced, oriented towards pleasure, less towards productivity. The ash is white and it is pleasant to smoke. San Rafael once again succeeds in offering a quality product that does not disappoint.
